First In-Person General Assembly after more than two years for ESSIAL

After more than two years and several General Assembly meeting that took place remotely due to the sanitary situation, the ESSIAL partners were able to meet again! The second to last GA of the ESSIAL project was held at the Citadelle, a UPJV campus in Amiens from Monday 16th of May until Wednesday 18th of May. The last time when all the partners had an in-person meeting was in Metz at IRT M2P partner in October 2019. 

During those three days all the partners discussed every aspect of the project. It started on Monday with five Working Groups to deal with the specific aspects of the project. Then, on Tuesday the discussions from the previous day were summarized, and the Work Packages achievements, as well as the ongoing tasks and the next steps until the end of the project were presented. Finally, on the Wednesday, both the UPJV and UniLaSalle proposed on-site visits of the laboratories used within the ESSIAL project to the other partners. 

Since the project is coming to its end, this three days meeting was also the occasion to plan ahead of the last event during which the project results will be presented to all interested parties.
