ESSIAL Meeting online

ESSIAL organised its new General Assembly meeting from 18 to 20 May 2020. Due to the health measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting, which was supposed to take place in Lille/Villeneuve d'Ascq (France), was organised online through a videoconference platform.

The first two days of the meeting were devoted to working groups on the different ESSIAL work packages. The General Assembly took place on 20 May 2020. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the activities carried out over the last 6 months, since the previous ESSIAL meeting in Metz (October 2019), as well as the actions ahead.

The meeting was concluded with a discussion with the ESSIAL project officer at the European Commission. The next ESSIAL General Assembly will take place in October 2020 (date and venue to be confirmed).
